Check the SYEHL punching axes monthly for proper storage.
Procedure after expiration of the maximum storage time of 6 months:
1.
Check the entire SYEHL punching axis for damage and corrosion prior to its
installation.
2.
Check the SYEHL punching axis for proper function and leaks during a test run.
After expiration of the maximum storage time, we recommend that you have the
SYEHL punching axis inspected by your responsible Rexroth Service partner.
Should you have queries with regard to spare parts, contact your responsible
Service partner for your SYEHL punching axis, see Chapter 10.4 „Spare parts“ on
page 114.
If a demounted SYEHL punching axis is to be stored, it must be preserved against
corrosion for the duration of storage.
Rexroth recommends the following proceeding:
1.
Clean the SYEHL punching axis, see Chapter 10.1, „Cleaning and care“ on page
110.
2.
Plug all ports air-tight.
3.
Wet non-lacquered external metal surfaces of the SYEHL punching axis with a
suitable anti-corrosion agent.
4.
Pack the SYEHL punching axis air-tight together with a desiccant in an anti-
corrosion foil.
5.
Protect the SYEHL punching axis against impacts during storage. For further
conditions, see “Requirements” in this chapter.

Always observe the general laws and regulations when handling water-
endangering and harmful substances.
6.1.4 Transporting and storing the HNC100 and electronics
There are no special instructions for transporting this product. You must, however,
observe the notes in Chapter 2. “General safety instructions” and comply with the
ambient conditions for storage and transport which are detailed in the technical
data of data sheet 30139.
Proceed as follows in order to prepare the HNC100 for storage and further use:

Only use the original packaging for storage.
▶
Comply with the admissible storage temperature range of –20 °C to +70 °C.
▶
Protect the HNC100 from dust and humidity.
