112/132 Maintenance and repair
Bosch Rexroth AG

once in the first week following this installation or repair. If no loss of nitrogen is
detected, a monthly check of the precharge rate is sufficient.

Connect a pressure gauge to test port MND1 of the low pressure accumulator
(diaphragm-type accumulator) or test port MHD1 of the high pressure
accumulator (bladder-type accumulator) using a line.
1.
To fill the hydraulic accumulator with hydraulic fluid, switch the hydraulic system
of the machine on. This will result in a low pressure level of 80 bar and a high
pressure level of 290 bar, and all shut-off valves are closed.
2.
Switch the hydraulic system off.
3.
Open the accumulator discharge valve (1.70) to slowly drain the hydraulic fluid.
4.
Observe the pressure gauge (
3
) during the draining process.
As soon as the gas precharge pressure is reached in the accumulator, the
pointer abruptly falls to zero.
If deviations are measured, first check whether:
•
pipes, valves and fittings are tight.
•
these deviations can be traced back to different ambient or gas temperatures.
Only if this check will not provide a result is an examination of the accumulator
necessary.
For recharging nitrogen, proceed as described in Chapter 8.1.4 “Charging the
accumulator“ on page 65.
10.2.6 Oil analysis
The service life of the SYEHL punching axis is heavily dependent on the quality of
the hydraulic fluid. For this reason, we recommend changing the hydraulic fluid for
the first time after 2½ years or 5000 operating hours (whichever occurs first) or
having it analyzed by the hydraulic fluid manufacturer or a laboratory to determine
its suitability for further use.
All subsequent analyses should be conducted at intervals of 2000 operating hours.
Since an oil change involves great expenditure and can only be carried out by
trained specialist personnel, it should only be carried out when actually required.
We recommend the use of high-quality HLP 46 hydraulic oils.
NOTICE!
Destruction of the hydraulics due to unfiltered oil.
▶
Only fill in filtered oil!
When filling the hydraulic system with the prescribed, suitable oil, proceed as
follows:
1.
Observe strictest cleanliness when filling the hydraulic system.
2.
Should the hydraulic power unit be dirty after handling or storage, clean the oil
fill connection on the reservoir before opening it.
3.
Never remove strainers from the filling connection or the filter insert of filters
when filling in the fluid.
