Apart from using continuously shifted gradients in the second dimension, as
was done during the checkout runs, it is also possible to stepwise shift the
second dimension gradients. For this purpose, keep the valve & loop
configuration as well as the 1D pump method the same. In

gradients as shown below:

Run the comprehensive 2D-LC analysis with stepwise shifted gradients in the
second dimension.
