and a 16-character maximum.

Media is wrinkled. The media is moist
from humidity or
having water spilled
on it.
Remove the moist media and replace it
with new, dry media.
The media feed roller
or fuser unit is
defective.
Check them for damage. If necessary,
contact Technical Support with the
error information.
Unsupported media
(wrong size, thickness,
type, etc.) is being
used.
Use Xerox-approved media. See
“Media Specifications” on page 45.
Envelopes are being
printed with both green
fuser separator levers
in the plain paper
position.
Before printing envelopes, place both
green fuser separator levers in the
envelope position.
The date and time
is not correctly
maintained on the
printer.
The backup battery
has reached the end of
its service life.
Replace the backup battery.
