The sewing speed can be changed using the Speed Control button if the ‹Start-
Stopbutton› or the foot controller is activated.
5.9 Presser foot lifter

You can raise and
lower the presser
foot using the
‹presser foot
lifter› . Set the
presser foot lifter
to the up position
to put bulky
sewing projects under the presser foot. If the presser foot lifter is in the upper
position, the Start-Stop button’s indicator lights up red. If it is down, the Start-Stop
button’s indicator lights up green. Before you start sewing, the presser foot lifter
must be set to the down position.

If the fabric you want to sew is too thick, the presser foot cannot be lowered far
enough and the thread tension will not work properly.
5.10 Spool pins
The spool pin is installed horizontally in the top part of the machine.

W6 tip
If the thread is running poorly or if you want to sew with the twin needle, we
recommend the external vertical spool pin, which is placed on the bobbin winder
spindle for winding the plastic bobbin.
