What do I do with the lower thread?
8.4 Inserting a plastic bobbin in the hook race
Carry out the following steps:
1. Hold the ‹plastic bobbin› between your thumb and index finger in your left
hand.
! The lower thread must hang down the left side.
This results in the bobbin and thread forming a “C” shape.
2. Insert the ‹plastic bobbin› into the hook race.
3. Using the index finger on your right hand, hold the ‹plastic bobbin› firmly
and guide the thread through the slot if the hook race keeping it taut.
! The slot is located at the 7 o'clock position.
