Using a pattern
10. Using the index finger on the left hand, flip the buttonhole lever
towards the starting point when the marked end point has been reached.
! The buttonhole dimensions are stored.
The buttonhole is sewn automatically by the machine up to the end.
More buttonholes can be sewn using these manually stored
dimensions.
11. Raise the presser foot and cut the threads.

11.9.7 Cutting out the buttonhole
Carry out the following steps:
1. Insert a pin crosswise on the inner edge of each of the front
and rear bars so that the stitches are not cut accidentally.
2. Using a
ripping knife or a
pair of sharp W6
buttonhole scissors, cut open the
buttonhole.
! Make an incision in the centre of the buttonhole and cut it
open on both sides up to the pins.
» The buttonhole has been cut open.
