Inserting the bobbin correctly
Please follow the instructions below:
•
Hold the plastic bobbin between your thumb and index finger in your left
hand. The lower thread must hang down the left side. This results in the
thread forming a “C” shape. See Optimal Threading video for the W6 N
9500 QPL.
This results in a “C” shape when you hold the plastic bobbin.
•
Insert the plastic bobbin in the black hook race.
•
Press the bobbin down firmly with your thumb or index finger so the
bobbin cannot move.
•
The thread must click tightly into place in the black hook race’s lower
thread tension. Now imagine the dial of a wristwatch. The thread is
correctly threaded when it clicks into place in the thread tension at the
7 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions.
