The regional area parameters are set in separate windows via the virtual keyboard.
Parameter values:
South edge
– area’s south border;
North edge
– area’s north border;
East edge
– area’s east border;
West edge
– area’s west border.
Notation of coordinates:
Degrees “
” minutes “.” shares of a
minute
“,” N/S,E/W
Example: 50 20.2341,N means 50
°
20.2341’ of North.
Transitional (Nm)
– width of transition zone;
Channel (A)
– channel number used by the AIS in the region;
Channel (B)
– channel number used by the AIS in the region;
Rx/Tx mode

“A=Rx+Tx, B=Rx+Tx” = transmit on channels A and B, receive on channels A
and B (default);
“A=Rx+Tx, B=Rx” = transmit on channel A, receive on channels A and B;
“A=Rx, B=Rx+Tx” = transmit on channel B, receive on channels A and B;
“A=Rx, B=Rx” = receive on channels A and B;
“A=Rx, B=off” = receive on channel A;
“A=off, B=Rx” = reserved on channel B;
“A=off, B=off” = channels are “Off”.
Tx power
– power (12W/2W).
After the input of parameters confirm them by pressing the “Accept” button. When
prompted by the system to confirm, press “Yes”.
