Operating using Remote Control software

TRANSAS AIS BASE STATION T214. Technical Manual.

Selecting firmware file

Press the “Choose” button and specify the path to the T214 firmware file (a file with
“.bin” extension).

Switching on programming mode

Press the “Switch” button: the Base Station will switch to the firmware upgrade
mode. As this is done, the upgrade mode light diode will light up in yellow, and all
the external Base Station data users will be disconnected.

Firmware upgrade

Press the Check that the field next to the “Choose” button displays the correct
firmware file. Press the “Upgrade” button: the upgrade mode light diode will light up
in blue, and the upgrade process will start. The current steps and the upgrade status
are shown in the “Status” field.
