Settings of Base Station configuration
Chapter 6. Commissioning.Internal configuration
63
The standard setting is switching on of the RTCM port for the reception of
differential corrections in RTCM SC-104 format. Besides, the Base Station can
receive differential corrections via the Main\Aux presentation ports.
It is not advisable to turn on reception of differential corrections in RTCM SC-104
format for any port simultaneously with other functions of this port, as mixing of the
binary RTCM data flow with text NMEA sentences may result in their incorrect
identification.
If the configuration sets a schedule for the transmission of differential corrections,
AIS Base Station T214 will be sending on air sentence 17 containing differential
corrections received via the serial port.

SETTINGS OF BASE STATION CONFIGURATION
The AIS Base Station requires a large number of various settings described in IEC-
62320-1. Setup of Base Station parameters can be done by the external
equipment\software (see the section 7) with the aid of BCF, CBM, CAB, DLM, BCE,
ECB and other sentences. These settings, however, can also be made from the
Service Display.
Select Configuration->Setup->BS setup menu.
Names of embedded submenus correspond to the names of configuration
sentences defined in IEC-62320-1.
