(13) Apply Loctite 243 to the cap screw threads (Figure 36, item 4) and reinstall the screws in the
adjustable C-clamp (item 1). Tighten the cap screws to a torque of 1.1 ± 0.1 Nm.
NOTE: Once the hard stop position has been set, the lamp assembly movement will stop
approximately 9° before the hard stop position. Refer to Chapter 4, K, Table 19.

CAUTION:
DO NOT STOW THE SEARCHLIGHT.
(14) Rotate the hard stop driven gear (Figure 36, item 5) by hand until the travel nut has moved clear of
the adjustable C-clamp (Figure 36, item 4).
(15) Operate the grip hand controller to turn system power
ON
.
(16) Allow the system to complete an initialisation check.
NOTE: The searchlight will detect and memorise the new limit switch positions.
(17) Operate the grip hand controller to drive the searchlight toward the maximum elevation position.
