(1) The paintwork on the searchlight will, from time to time, require repairs and this may be carried out

using the Sempen™ applicator.

(2) The Sempen™ applicator (Figure 83) is supplied with two precisely metered materials that are

barrier separated during storage. Each Sempen™ applicator contains 10 ml of material.

(3) Read all documentation accompanying the Sempen™ applicators for any additional information.
(4) Prior to use, the Sempen™ applicator tube barrier is displaced (view A and B) to allow thorough

mixing of materials. After the materials have been mixed, variable amounts of coating material can

be applied to the searchlight surface.

(5) The material used is a Desothane HS Military coating, colour type CA9363/F37038.

NOTE: Shelf life of this product is six months from the time of manufacture and is

available from PRC-DeSoto International.
