Searchlight travels into
zones which are
beyond the identified
azimuth and elevation
limits.
Incorrectly set azimuth
and/or elevation hard
stops.
1. Check the hard stop witness marks.
2. Carry out the prescribed azimuth and elevation
hard stop adjustment procedures (refer to
Chapter 4).
3. Check the azimuth and elevation drive shafts
for signs of slippage between the shaft and it’s
mating drive gear.

NOTE: If an internal error code is displayed, Trakka recommends that, if possible, the
searchlight should be stowed and the system turned OFF.
CAUTION: DEPENDING ON THE PROBLEM, BE AWARE THAT THE SEARCHLIGHT MAY NOT
BE ABLE TO BE STOWED PRIOR TO LANDING.
