(2) Installing the lamp sub-assembly to the front case.
CAUTION:
ENSURE THE LAMP ASSEMBLY IS WELL SUPPORTED TO PREVENT
THE ASSEMBLY FROM ROLLING OFF THE WORK BENCH.
(a) Slide the lamp sub-assembly (Figure 56, item 1) (032055) into the inner casing
(Figure 56, item 4) (037059).
NOTE: Ensure the two dowel locating pins (Figure 56, item 2) mate with the locating
holes (Figure 56, item 5) in the inner case (Figure 56, item 4).
(b) Slide the outer case over the inner case taking care not to damage the rubber baffle
(Figure 56, item 3).
NOTE: Ensure the two dowel locating pins (Figure 56, item 2) mate with the locating
holes (Figure 56, item 5) in the outer case (Figure 56, item 6).
(c) Position the front protection window (Figure 56, item 8) and the O-ring (Figure 56, item 9)
onto the window seal as shown in Figure 56.
NOTE: Place the lamp assembly in an upright position whilst installing the front
protection window.
(d) Position the front lens ring (Figure 56, item 10) over the window.
(e) Apply Loctite 222 to the five cap screws (Figure 56, item 11) (109753), insert them in the front
lens ring and torque to 2.6 ± 0.1 Nm.
