SLAVE Switch
•
This momentary pushbutton switch is used to
enable/disable camera slaving mode.
•
A “long press” (holding the button down for more than 3
seconds) will:
•
During normal operating mode, place the system in
camera calibration mode.
•
During slave and calibration mode, will set the current
position as the new calibration position.
•
During camera slaving mode, the camera slave LED
(Figure 21, item 3) will illuminate.
•
When calibrating camera slaving this LED will flash.

DIM Switch
•
Momentary pushbutton to switch between searchlight full
power and reduced power mode.

STOW Switch
•
Momentary pushbutton used to stow the system. The seven
segment display will display “P” when the stow position has
been achieved. Filter numbers will no longer be displayed.
•
The display will flash “P” until it moves to the stow position.

FILTER SELECT/ENGAGE
Switch
•
Lift the switch upwards to the SELECT position which will
increment the filter number through the various filter
positions. During this time the seven segment display will
flash.
•
Push the switch downwards to ENGAGE the selected filter.
The display will stop flashing and the filter wheel will rotate
to the selected filter.
•
Filters can only be selected when the system is deployed.

Lamp ON/OFF Switch.
•
This momentary pushbutton is used to turn the searchlight
on/off. Pressing the button while the light is off will initiate
the lamp start function in the PCIU MKII. The seven
segment display will show rotating segments to indicate the
lamp is starting. The Lamp ON LED will flash to indicate
lamp is starting.
•
During the lamp start function no other functions will be
active.
•
Lamp ON LED will remain illuminated when lamp is ON.

Input Connector
Connects to interface cable.
10 Laser ON/OFF Switch
•
This toggle switch is used to turn the laser pointer power
on/off.
•
The laser pointer indicator is used to indicate the state of
the laser pointer (ON/OFF).
11 Rear Hand Guard
With the keyhole cut-outs, the guard can be used to attach
the grip hand controller to a prepared point on the fuselage
wall when not in use.
