10. Jigs/GSE
(1) Jigs are available
upon application
for purchasing from Trakka Corp. These jigs have been
specially designed to facilitate servicing of the searchlight and further information is available from
the Trakka Corp Service Department.

(2) The portable hangman (Figure 84) (121003) provides a suitable method of setting up the entire
gimbal and lamp assembly in a workshop in the same way that it would be installed on an aircraft.
See Figure 45. After use, the hangman may be folded and then easily stored until required again.
(3) The lamp core jig (Figure 85) (121001) provides a convenient method of lying the A800 lamp core
in a horizontal position on a work bench in such a way that the lamp core may be easily supported
and rotated when working with it. This jig has been primarily designed to assist with centring the
light beam. Refer to Chapter 5, Q.
