5 • AE Analyzer Enclosure Description
5.1 AE Overview
The AE Analyzer Enclosure provides housing for the modules in a Dionex
Integral system, including chromatography system modules and Dionex Integral
SP and SS enclosures.
The AE is designed for use in
nonhazardous locations and provides
the following levels of NEMA
environments:
•
When the AE is equipped with a
blower, it meets NEMA 12
requirements (because it has
ventilation openings that are
exposed to the environment).
•
When the AE is not equipped with a
blower, it meets NEMA 4X
requirements (because it does not
have ventilation openings).

Table 3-1 .
The AE can be mounted on top of the
LE Liquids Enclosure (see
Figure 5-1 ),
or on a wall or other appropriate support
structure.
