4 • SS Stream Selector Description
4.1 SS Overview
The SS Stream Selector (see Figure 4-1 ) allows selection of a sample from
multiple sample streams. The SS can be configured with up to three stream
selection valves, with each valve connected to up to seven sample streams. This
allows sampling from one of 7, 14, or 21 streams, depending on the number of
valves installed in the SS.
4.2 Stream Selection
SS stream selection valves are 17-port, 8-position valves in either PEEK
(P/N 068535) or stainless steel (P/N 068540). Sample stream inlet lines enter the
SS through fittings on the side of the SS and connect to inlet ports on the stream
