Fold Up Seat
There are currently two different types of seat for this lift. One is gradually being phased out
(old style) and being replaced with the new design. Both types are illustrated here.
New Style Seat Design
Seat mounts to two tubes that fix directly onto sling
as shown.
DO NOT FIT TUBES UNTIL ON-SITE
LOAD TEST HAS BEEN CONDUCTED.
1. Fix top of tubes using two M6 x 20 skt
capheads and spring washers, through holes
in front of cross bar.
2. Use white caps provided to plug up holes.
3. Fix bottom of tubes with two M6 x 20 hex head
setscrews, washers and spring washers.
4. Each tube has two nutserts ready for seat
to be fixed at standard height. Nutserts can
be added on site to the various holes
available, if height needs to change.
5. The lower back panel needs to be
fitted BEFORE the seat is fixed.
There should be a range of dimples in
the panel, to be used for drilling a set of
4 x Ø6.5mm holes for the seat to be
fastened through. The bottom set are for
the standard seat height. The other
dimples can be used if the height needs
to be changed on site. The 2 x Ø18mm
clearance holes at the bottom, are for the
seat tube fasteners.
If these dimples/holes aren’t available,
use the dimensions shown here to add
them.
