Trapdoor Safe Edge Override & Creep Disable Switch
Underpan Separation Override Switch – Sling LHS
The trapdoor safe edge override &
creep disable switch can be found
on the front of the sling, by a large
slot on the RHS as shown.
The roller lever operates against
the control tube by protruding
through the slot, to the rear of the
lift.
It should be set to operate at the
earliest when, as the car
descends, the trapdoor is at a
maximum of 20mm above the
aperture liner.
It should be adjusted so that the
roller is horizontal and positioned
just off the cam as shown.
*Please note position of Switch!
To the LHS of the sling there are two cut outs with two switches pre-fitted to the top cut out
as shown. These switches are designed to activate at the point that they roll off the end of
the external ram cover as the lift levels up.
If the lower floor to ceiling distance is 2600mm or greater, the switches should be moved to
the middle cut out.
