Trapdoor Switch Settings and Adjustments
Lighter Heavier
1. To level arm, slacken the LH nut and
adjust the pulley position to the left or
right, depending on trapdoor weight.
10mm of movement is roughly equal to
compensating for 6.35 kg (1 stone).
2. Tighten nuts when correct level
achieved.
T/door ‘ DOWN ’ safe edge
switch (Yellow Wires)
T/door ‘ UP ’ safe edge
switch (Brown Wires)
Only adjust these switches once the
carpet/flooring has been added to the
trapdoor.
Adjustment can be achieved as
illustrated.
Trapdoor Pick Up Arm should be
adjusted so that it is horizontal at
the point when the trapdoor leg
roller engages with it.
3. Trapdoor alignment rollers at top of
sling are used to keep the trapdoor panel
as horizontal as possible.
Default position is the middle hole, but
these rollers can be repositioned if
required, to provide the optimum level.
