Final Testing
Final testing must be completed by a competent person - Terry Lifts Ltd. defines a
“ competent person ” as a lift engineer who has undergone specific training on Terry
products , has passed the appropriate tests and been issued with a certificate of
competence by the “ Company ” or one of its authorised agents.
1. After installation the installation test certificate must be completed (see ‘Test
Certificate’ section).
2. On every visit to an installation the basic safety system checks should be completed
as indicated in the ‘Harmony Service Points’ section of this manual. These checks are
defined in the ‘Harmony Lift – Definition of Basic Safety Items’ section.
