Sling Ledge
Bolt, rectangular
washer & nut sets
Fixing Carriage to Sling
Fitting Car Side Safe Edges
1. Rest rear of centre brace onto
sling ledge.
Fit four sets of bolts, rectangular
washers
* and nuts, through
centre brace slots and secure to
sling.
Check sides of car are flush with
sides of guide before tightening
screws.
*It is important that the rectangular washers are assembled in the orientation shown in
the illustration above, as other orientations will conflict with the inner panels that are
later assembled into the carriage.
2. Secure carriage axle to brackets at base of
sling and use shims provided, to set carriage in
correct position, left to right.
3. With carriage now secured to sling, use spacer too to set sling
4mm off from front face of guides.
When car position has been finalised, drill and tap for M4 through
this hole (both sides) and secure with an M4 x 10 screw – be
careful not to drill through too far into the carriage roller.
Two safe edge channel assemblies
drop into tops of side frames.
Fit safe edge
channel assembly
with long plunger,
to ‘Latch Side’,
with long plunger
at front.
Connect wires in
side frames to
plunger switches.
