Tilting the Floor
The floor can be adjusted/tilted to suit any in-difference in the
finished floor level at the lower level.
It is recommended that side to side adjustment is kept to a maximum
of 10mm due to the car landing position at the upper level.
Dropping the front equally can be done to a maximum of 20mm.
1. Lower the lift down and set the ram adjustment plates as
normal (see ‘Final Adjustments’ section) to achieve the 5mm free
play in the highest corner of the floor that the lift will land on.
2. The tilting floor can now be adjusted to drop the front of the car
to a position that is suitable for wheelchair access (5mm free play
in the Underpan in all 4 corners).
3. Slacken the 2 x M6 Allen head screws
in the front lower face of each car side.
4. To drop the floor away from the car sides, thus lowering
the ramp, slacken off the top M6 nuts on the side/floor
fixing studs as illustrated.
5. Slacken off the two lower nuts on each stud, to enable further adjustment.
6. Once the correct adjustment has been achieved, tighten the front M6 bolts first,
then the six M6 nuts on the studs.
