Set Up
There is no adjustment needed
on the switch. The only
adjustment necessary is the
height at which the safe edge
angle fixing posts are set.
Height of safe edge fixing
post can be adjusted by
unfastening the screw in the
side of the ‘bullet’.
Refer to the ‘Panel Installation Procedure’ within this manual,
for guidelines on how to fit the top safe edge cover.
There are two switch assemblies at the top of the
sling. The LHS switch assembly is shown here.

Each switch should
open no earlier than
2mm movement and no
later than 4mm
movement of U/pan
- An additional 20mm
movement required after
switches open
- Back up safety switches
should operate approx.
15mm after safe edge
switches (just before car
touches U/pan – 2mm)
Set Up (same for front & rear)
1. Normal U/pan safety switch
to operate on 204mm
movement of U/pan.
2. U/pan backup safety switch
should never normally operate.
Car should stop on ram. They
only operate when U/pan is
hard up against car.
