Creep Protection Board

To remove the potential for unauthorised movement of the lift when the creep system
switches are not set up correctly, a Creep Protection Pull Cord is fitted to TB17 of the
CE1654 board. If pulled, this cord will remove TB17 connector from the circuit, thus
breaking the creep circuit to the CE1654 board, preventing the lift from travelling. The cord
can be removed following full commissioning of the lift.

Protection Cord Assembly

Installation and Operation on Lift Control Board (CE1654)

Remove TB17 connector
by pulling the Red cord to
disable the creep circuitry.

Fix the opaque tab of the
creep disable cord to the
lower side of TB17.
