Sling Installation
Transportation Strap
(complete with
fasteners) must be
returned to Terry
Group Ltd, once
removed.

1. Remove
Transportation
Strap before
installing the
sling.
2. Use wooden block on lower
base plate to assemble sling into
guide, so it remains off the floor.
Support the sling on the block at
an angle, so the back can be
accessed.
6. Fit sling into guides, LHS first. Take care
when pushing in RHS, not to damage the
switch assembly that is resting in the RH
lower guide.
Once inside guides, re-attach the axle,
lateral rollers & control mechanism to sling.
7. Align head of ram with hole in guide.
Carefully fit collar inside head of ram
and using hot wire kit raise ram to locate
fastening ram bolt. Fit bolt through ram
and plates. Secure with nyloc nut.
BE VERY CAREFUL!
3. Feed the ends of the trailing cables
(inside energy chain), down the back of
the sling.
4. Connect the end of the energy chain
to the pre-assembled bracket fixed to
the sling.
5. Cable-tie the 2 x 7 core cables to the
sling as shown.

8. Rivet the ‘serial number plate’ to the top of the lower back panel using the
existing holes as shown. Fit both the back panel and mirror panel to the sling
to prevent a trapping hazard during set up. If fitting a seat, please check the
‘Fold Up Seat’ section of this manual before fitting lower panel.
PLEASE
NOTE, the lower back panel and any seat mounting tubes will need to
be removed during the on-site load testing.
