Information regarding Controls, Settings & Adjustments
IMPORTANT:
For a safe, reliable installation it is important that all settings are near the middle of
their tolerance band, otherwise “settling” in of the lift could cause a malfunction.
Before any of the following settings are made it is vital to ensure that the lift guides
are securely fixed and that each guide is plumb.
If the front face of the guides can be imagined as a plane surface, then this plane
must be absolutely flat and vertical.
Fitting the Upper Limit Bracket
Standard Sling – 2130mm
Low Ceiling Kit – 2085mm
Long Sling – 2440mm
Long Sling (low upper ceiling)
Special ‘Leg’ – 2395mm
Trapdoor Pick Up Kit Details
Three different ‘leg’ lengths
dependent on sling type –
short for low ceiling, standard
and long.
Two different RH Trapdoor Profiles
– one for use with std and long
slings; one only to be used with low
ceiling sling (short plunger).
An upper limit bracket must
always be fixed to the inside of
the RH Upper Guide.
The distance from the upper
floor (FFL) to the underside of
the bracket will changed,
depending on sling type. See
the illustration for height details.
1. Position towards the front end
(not middle) and secure with a
clamp until the lift has been sent
to the top and checked for level
against the floor level.
2. Drill through the slot centres
in the bracket and use M6
screws, washers and nyloc nuts
to secure.
3. Fine adjustments can be
made using the slots.
