7.2.5 Infobox
An Infobox is displayed briefly after each program change showing the program position, the
program, the entered channel name and the currently active program list. Other program fea-
tures such as

for 16:9 broadcasts,

yellow bar is also displayed, showing you how long the current broadcast has been running.
The SFI genre and the FSK age details (Voluntary control of the film industry) will also be
displayed.
7.3 Reception of encoded programs
Your unit is equipped with an integrated CONAX decoder system as well as a “Common
Interface” for recording from two CI-modules. This enables you to receive encoded pro-
grams. You must first insert either a CONAX smartcard into the integrated card reader or
insert a valid a
CI-module together with a valid smartcard into one of the provided two slots:
>
Insert the
CONAX
smartcard in the card reader of the integrated card slot. (The gol-
den chip should point downwards and in the direction the card is inserted)
or
>
Insert a CI-module into one of the slots.
>
Insert the smartcard into the card slot of the CI module.
Please observe that the golden chip of the smartcard is on the top and directed
towards the insertion direction.
>
The digital receiver will automatically check the card reader as well as both CI-slots, if
it receives an encoded program and will display the decoded program, provided that
there is a valid smartcard present for this program or the relevant CI-module has a
valid smartcard inserted in it.
7.3.1 Simultaneous reception of two encoded programs
Your receiver enables you to receive two differently encoded programs simultaneously using
just one CI-module and only one valid smartcard. However, this is only possible if you are
using a CI-module suitable for “Dual-Decrypt” (see specifications of the CI-module manufac-
turer) and both of the programs are broadcast on the same channel.

CI Dual decoding
section in special functions, Section 6.4.3.
