8.3.2 Music/Image management
You can use your receiver as described in Sections 8.2.2 and 8.2.3 to replay music saved in
MP3 format and images saved in JPG format. Connect a USB device, as described in
Section 4.8 and on which the MP3's or JPG's are saved, to the receiver's USB socket, so
that the relevant files can be copied to the hard disk.
Please note
that in the
Copy music
menu only MP3 files can be administered and that in the
Image
menu
only JPG files can be administered.

Call the
hard disk management
menu as described in Section 8.3.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the
Copy music
or
Copy image
lines so that you can work with the relevant files.
>
Press the
OK
key to confirm.
A two-part menu is displayed, in which the files and directories saved on the hard disk
are displayed in the left half (Set Top box). The files and directories available on the
connected USB device are displayed on the right.
>
Use the
green USB device
control key to change to the USB device or the
red
Set Top box
control key to change to the hard disk.
The first file of the first directory is marked.
8.3.2.1 Copy
The
Copy
function will create a copy of the marked file or the marked directory on the hard
disk or the USB device. The original file or directory will be preserved.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the file or directory that you want to
copy to the hard disk or USB device.
>
Press the
blue Functions
control key to open a window displaying the available
functions.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the
Copy
line and then press
OK
to
confirm.
>
Now press the
yellow Copy
control key to copy the marked file or directory.
The marked file or directory will now be copied and will be displayed afterwards in eit-
her the left or right half of the menu.
Selecting blocks
Proceed as follows to mark several files simultaneously:
>
Press the
OK
key to jump to select mode.
The marked file is identified by a cross thisdisplayed on its left.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight following/preceeding files.
>
After you have highlighted the required files as described above you can press the
yellow
control key to copy the files.
Please note that it is
not
possible to block mark directories!
