8.3.4 Hard disk information

key and a window containing information on the integrated hard disk
will be displayed.
8.3.5 Hard disk management

Press the
OK
key to obtain an overview of the free space left on the hard disk and
the number of recordings saved on it.
8.3.5.1 Testing the hard disk

The hard disk can be tested by using the
left/right arrow keys
to highlight
Test
.

Press the
OK
key and then also confirm the following instructions by pressing
OK
again to start the test.
The hard disk will now be tested. The result will be displayed afterwards.
8.3.5.2 Formating the hard disk
The file system will be replaced when the hard disk is formated. You might need to run this, if
a problem was found when the hard disk was tested.
Note!
All the data on the hard disk will be completely deleted during forma-
ting and this means that all of the existing recordings and multi-
media files (e,g, MP3s) will be lost.

key and confirm the following instructions by also pressing the

key to start the formatting process.
Please note!
Only the installed hard disk may be used in the unit. Otherwise you might damage the unit.
Do not open the unit and replace the hard disk as this will invalidate the guarantee.

9 Changing the basic programing
9.1 Configuring the favourites list
This chapter describes how you can change your digital receiver's pre-programing and the
favourites program lists to suit your needs. This function is also required after you have run a
search to sort and enter any newly found programs in the list if import automatically was
selected.
For this you should know the following: Your unit uses the
full list
and four
favourites lists
,
provided that the multiple favourites lists function has been switched on as described in
Section 6.4.1. The favourites program lists contain all programs that you recorded as descri-
