8.3.2.4 Playing MP3 files / displaying images
You can play an MP3 file or view a JPG file in this menu using the
Play
or
Display
func-
tion. This function can be called as follows:
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the file that you want to play or view.
>
Press the
blue
Function
control key
to open a window displaying the available
functions.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the
Play
or
Display
line and then
press
OK
to confirm.
>
Press the
yellow
control key to play or display the currently marked file.
8.3.3 Copying a recording
Use this function to export a recording from the internal hard disk to an external USB device,
e.g. a hard disk.
>
Call the
hard disk management
menu as described in Section 8.3.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the
Copy recording
line.
>
Press
OK
to confirm.
The
Copy recording
menu will be displayed.
The recordings saved on the internal hard disk are displayed
on the left of the screen. The USB device content is displayed on the right.
>
Use the
green USB device
control key to switch to the USB device or the
red
Set Top box
control key to switch to the hard disk.
The first file is marked.
8.3.3.1 Export
Use the
Export
function to create a copy of the marked file on the USB device. The original
file will be preserved.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the file that you want to copy to the USB
device.
>
Press the
blue
Function
control key
to open a window displaying the available
functions.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the
Export
line and then press
OK
to
confirm.
>
Now press the
yellowExport
control key to copy the highlighted file.
The marked file will now be copied to the USB device and will be displayed in the
right of the
menu afterwards. Please note that this process depends on the size of the recording
and might well take a long time to complete.
Selecting blocks
Proceed as follows to highlight several files simultaneously:
>
Press the
OK
key to jump to select mode.
The marked file will be identified by a cross alongside it on the left.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the following/preceeding files as well.
