Stopping recording manually
>
If you want, you can stop the recording via PVR Navigator and by pressing
OK
and
calling it up afterwards by pressing the
green
control key, mark the recording using
the
arrow keys
and then press the
OK
key to confirm.
>
Now press
green Stop
control key.
The “Do you want to save or delete the recording? query will now be displayed”.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to select
Save
to save the recording on the hard
disk or
Delete
, if you do not want to save the broadcast and then press
OK
to con-
firm.
Stopping recording automatically
Option 1:
>
Press the
On/Stand-by
key.
A query concerning the current recording will be displayed on the screen.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to mark the line in which the required activity is
displayed and then press
OK
to confirm.
The receiver will record the complete current broadcast or up to a pre-selected time
and switch over to standby afterwards.
>
If you want to switch the receiver on before recording
has finished, a querywill be displayed, asking you if the current broadcast
should be replayed from the
start
, continued as
live
or if you want to change over to the
current program
.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to mark the
relevant line and then press
OK
to confirm.
If you have selected
start
, then the recording will switch over to and continue in
Timeshift mode (Section 8.1.3).
Option 2:
>
Press the
record
key.
A window containing the available functions
will be displayed on the screen.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to mark the line containing the action that you want,
e.g.
+1 hour
.
>
Press the
OK
key to confirm.
The receiver will continue to record the broadcast(s) that you set for the selected time
period and will automatically stop recording afterwards.
8.1.2 Timer recording
Use the hard disk Timer to record broadcasts on the integrated hard disk when you are
absent. Your receiver can also use a video cassette recorder Timer and a change channel
Timer. The only difference betwen these types of Timer, with regard to programing, is the
specification of the relevant Timer type.
You can either program the Timer manually as described in this chapter or as explained in
Section 7.16.7.2, by using the SFI function.
