You can block several programs simultaneously by marking them as described in
9.1.4 (
block marking
) and block them by pressing the
yellow
control key.

Proceed as described earlier to unblock single programs by highlighting the relevant
program and remove the child lock by pressing the
yellow
control key.

Continue this way until you have configured the program list to suit your needs and
then press the
Return
key to jump back to the Child lock menu.
9.3.4 Selecting a radio station
Radio channels can be blocked in the same way as described in Section 9.3.3.
9.4 Programme search
Please note:
The digital programs that you can receive using your receiver depend on the cable network
that your receiver is connected up to. Your cable network provider can give you more infor-
mation regarding this.
You should run a program search, so that your receiver can replay all of the digital programs
available in your cable network. You have the following options:
1. Automatic search
Select this search run, in order to search for programs throughout the entire reception fre-
quency range of the receiver.
2. Extended search
Select this search to search specific frequencies or channel sectors for programs or to run a
network search .
3. Manual search
Select this search to search for programs in a specific channel.
4. PID search
Select this search and then use program specific PID numbers targeted at searching
for specific programs.
A report will be displayed on the screen after each search run listing details on how many
programs your digital receiver has found, how many of these are new and how many are
encoded. New programs will be saved in the
complete list
and can be imported, as descri-
bed in Section 9.1, into the
Favourites list
.

9.4.1 Automatic search
This search method will automatically search for programs over the entire receiving spec-
trum. You can decide, whether you want to search for all (free and encoded) stations or for
