Please ask your municipal management, where the next
waste disposal is located.
Ensure that the drained batteries of the remote control are
not put into the household waste, but are properly disposed
(returned to the specialised trade, hazardous waste).

The manufacturer does not assume responsibility for damages
caused by incorrect handling and by non-compliance with the
safety precautions.

The unit is equipped with an integrated hard disk.
Installing a hard disk that has not been authorised by
TechniSat is not intended. TechniSat cannot guarantee
that the device complies with the legal requirements
(e.g. German Federal Equipment and Product Safety
Act, German Federal Act on Electromagnetic
Compatibility of Appliances), in the case of an unautho-
rised replacement. The "CE-mark" will become invalid
in such cases. The person, who modified the appliance
is considered manufacturer and is appropriately liable
in case of resale of the device.. The TechniSat guaran-
tee also becomes void and the warranty claims expire.

Place the unit on a flat, even surface to ensure adequa-
te ventilation and do not place any objects on the top
cover. The ventilation slots are located there to enable
the heat to escape from inside.

Never place burning objects on the unit, e.g. burning
candles.

Never expose the device to dripping or splashed water
and do not place any items filled with liquid, e.g. vases,
on it.

The unit should only be operated in temperate climate.

Never open the device! There is the danger of electro-
cution. Only trained personnel are allowed to open the
unit.
