6 Settings
You can customise the digital receiver for your own use, if necessary, after you have connec-
ted it up and started it.
6.1 Operating language
This menu item enables you to set the menu language according to your requirements.
Proceed as follows to change the operating language:
>
Call the
Main menu
by pressing the
menu
key.
>
Now highlight the
operating language
menu line using the
up/down arrow
keys
.
>
Press
OK
to confirm your choice.
The
operating language
sub-menu will be displayed.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the language that you require.
>
Press
OK
to save the entry and return to the
main menu
.
>
Press the
red Return
control key to return to the
main menu
without saving the
change.
6.2 Basic settings
You can also set your DVB receiver to your own requirements, in order to make optimum use
of it.
>
Call the
main menu
by pressing the
menu
key.
>
Mark the
Settings
line by using the
up/down arrow keys
.
>
Acknowledge by pressing the
OK
key.
The
Settings
sub/menu will be displayed.
>
Select the
Basic settings
by using the
arrow keys up/down
.
>
Press
OK
to confirm.
The
Basic settings
menu will be displayed.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to move the marker within the menu and to change
the individual positions as shown.
You might also need to take note of the screen insert when selecting a menu option.
The following settings can be entered:
6.2.1 Time difference GMT (h)
Your unit is equipped with a clock. This is synchronised via cable reception to

You merely need to reset the clock to your local time, if the

setting has been entered
under
Country
(Section 6.2.2) . +1 hour should be entered for Germany and +2 hours in
the summer to eliminate the time difference.

to set the relevant time difference.
