Splitting a recording
Use this function to split a recording that has been made from two consecutive broadcasts
into two separate recordings. A recording will always be split from the highlighted marks.
Split the recording as follows:
>
Mark the start of the section that is to be split with a mark as described in the
Setting up a mark
section.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to highlight the mark where you want to split the full
recording.
>
Now press the
green menu
control key and use the
up/down arrow keys
to
highlight the
Split recording line
.
>
Pressing the
OK
key will display a query window.
Information on the two recordings that will be created by the split will be displayed.
>
The recording is actually split by using the
left/right arrow keys
to highlight the
OK
box and then pressing
OK
to confirm.
Renaming a recording
Your PVR receives information concerning the name of the broadcasts from the transmitted
data flow. All of the names will be recorded, broadcasts will be saved internally if a recording
includes several broadcasts.
Proceed as follows to rename a recording:
>
Press the
green menu
control key and then use the
up/down arrow keys
to
highlight the
Rename recording line
.
>
Press
OK
to confirm.
A list of possible titles will be displayed.
>
Use the
up/down arrow keys
to select the title that you want and then press
OK
to confirm.
>
Use the
left/right arrow keys
to highlight the
OK
box in the query window and
then press
OK
to confirm.
>
If you want to give the recording a new name just use the
up/down arrow keys
to
highlight the
New
line.
>
Press the
OK
key to open the virtual keypad and use it to to enter a new name as
described in the
Renaming a marked
section.
Enlarging the video
Switching to the position in a recording that you want can be made easier by enlarging the
recording video image.
>
Press the
green menu
control key and then use the
up/down arrow keys
to
highlight the
Enlarge video
line.
>
Press
OK
to confirm and the enlarged video image will be displayed.
>
The video image can be reduced again by proceeding as described above and by
highlighting the
Reduce video
line.
