Cleaning the inside area and glass chamber of the GuardOne
®
Workstation
CAUTION!
Health damage due to UV irradiation!
Long-term exposure to UV light results in damage to health.
- For safety reasons, the UV lamp cannot be switched on while the front door is open.
- For safety reasons, the UV lamp is switched off automatically as soon as the front door is being opened. Closing the door again
does not restart the decontamination procedure.
NOTICE!
Complete decontamination impossible due to permanent draught!
Due to the permanent draught in the glass chamber, a decontamination of 100 % by irradiation by the UV lamps is not possible.

Wet cleaning
Preconditions:
›
The recommended cleaning intervals have been observed.
›
The GuardOne® Workstation is switched off.
1.
Use a lint-free, damp cleaning tissue to wipe the interior of the glass chamber with a mild detergent and water.
2.
Use a lint-free cleaning tissue to wipe dry.
Cleaning by UV decontamination
1.
Switch on the power.
2.
Press Tap to unlock the Standby screen. The Standby screen is unlocked. You are now in the Home menu.
3.
On the Home menu, press UV 254 Decon. The page for activating the UV decontamination opens.
4.
To start the UV decontamination, switch on the UV lamp using the UV Status switch
.
To stop the UV decontamination, switch off the UV lamp using the UV Status switch
again.
5.
To automatically stop the UV decontamination after a pre-set time, you can use the timer function:
The timer can only be used before the UV lamp has been switched on.
For a general decontamination of the internal space of the glass chamber, 20 minutes of irradiation is recommended.

To set the timer, press the hour, minute or second buttons.
›
Select the desired values using the + and - button
.
›
After setting the desired decontamination time, switch on the UV lamp using the UV Status switch.
›
The UV lamp will be switched off automatically after the pre-set time has elapsed.
›
Recommended decontamination times can be found in “Bacterial destruction through UV irradation”.
6.
After cleaning and decontamination, you can switch off the GuardOne® Workstation.
