Activating the UV lamp
Precondition:
›
The UV lamp is installed.
›
You are on the Home menu of the graphical user interface.
›
The packaging of the UV lamp including the sticker with the serial
number, is available.
Enter the serial number
1.
Close the front door.
As soon as the front door is closed, the airflow stops automatically.
2.
Press Settings.
3.
Press Replace UV Light.
4.
Enter the 10-digit serial number (1) provided with the UV bulb.
5.
Press Enter (2) to finish the installation procedure.
6.
Press Home to get back to the Home menu.
7.
Press UV254 Decon on the Home menu to open the parameter
entry page.

CAUTION!
Health damage due to UV irradiation!
Long-term exposure to UV light may result in damage to health. For
safety reasons, the UV lamp cannot be switched on while the front
door is open. For safety reasons, the UV lamp will be switched off
automatically as soon as the front door is being opened. Closing
the door again will not restart the decontamination procedure.

To start the UV decontamination, switch the UV lamp On using
the UV Status switch
(1).
›
To stop the UV decontamination, switch the UV lamp Off using the
UV Status switch
again.
With correct setting and installation, the UV lamp emits
a light blue light.
If the UV lamp is not working, make sure that the magnetic
switch connector is securely plugged into the port.
If the UV light is still not working, contact your local

tarlab sales
representative.
LED light switches off automatically after UV light is switched on.
9.
After you have made sure that the UV lamp is working, switch the
UV lamp off by using the UV Status switch
.
10. Press Home to return to the Home menu. After a successful
function test, you can now change the pre-set parameter.
