Remove the packaging of the UV lamp. On the packaging, there is a sticker with the serial number of the UV lamp. You will need this
serial number for the life time surveillance activation.
NOTICE!
Risk of malfunctioning when exchanging only one UV lamp!
The 48“ model has two UV lamps installed. If you replace only one of them, there is a risk of malfunctioning.
- Always replace both UV lamps at the same time.
NOTICE!
Loss of UV decontamination efficiency due to the incorrect version of UV lamp!
Installing the wrong type of UV lamp (e.g. different power or brand) results in a partial or complete loss of UV
decontamination efficiency.
- Make sure that you have the correct version of replacement UV lamp available.
NOTICE!
Restricted function due to the installation of non-original UV lamp!
When using any other UV lamp than the original Starlab UV lamp, the proper function of the UV decontamination cannot
be guaranteed.
- Only use original Starlab UV lamp designed for the GuardOne® Workstation.
- In case of any questions, contact your local Starlab service or sales contact.

Removing the used UV lamp
1.
Switch off the GuardOne® Workstation by using the main power
switch on the back of the housing.
2.
Open the front door fully, using the recess on the roof of the top
housing to safely secure it in this position.
3.
CAUTION!
Risk of burns due to the heat of the UV lamp during
decontamination!
UV lamps can heat up during operation.
Touching the UV lamp immediately after use can cause minor
burns and even blistering of the skin.
Wait at least 10 minutes before removing the cooled lamp from the
holder.
4.
Rotate the UV lamp approx. 90° in clockwise direction to release it
from its socket. As soon as the lamp has been released, you will hear
a clicking sound.
5.
Withdraw the UV lamp downwards.
Inserting the new UV lamp
1.
Insert the new UV lamp from below into the lamp sockets. Lock the UV
lamp by rotating it by approx. 90° in anticlockwise direction. In the 48“
version you replace two UV lamps side by side according to the same
principle. As soon as the lamp has been locked, you will hear a clicking
sound.
2.
Close the front door carefully.
3.
Switch on the power.
