Alerts
In case of an incoming alert, you can contact your local Starlab sales representative or Starlab service technician for further information
and assistance at any time.
Status alerts reflect information about the functionality and life time of the
HEPA filter and the UV lamp.

UV light life time end
(Alert 1)
- UV light life time end means that the UV lamp has reached the end
time of 9000 hours and must be replaced to ensure the functionali-
ty of the decontamination process.

UV light critical age
(Alert 2)
- UV light critical age means that the UV lamp is close to the end of
its life time of 9000 hours but has not reached it yet. 10% of the
life time remains.
- The UV decontamination process can still be used but it is recom-
mended to have a spare UV lamp ready for future replacement.
- To order a new UV lamp, contact your local Starlab sales represen-
tative. Contact details may be found by pressing Starlab Service &
Order Information on the Status page.

HEPA filter life time end
(Alert 3)
- HEPA filter life time end means that the HEPA filter has reached
its final life time of 600 days and must be replaced to ensure the
functionality of the GuardOne® Workstation.

HEPA filter blocked
(Alert 4)
- HEPA filter blocked means that the GuardOne® Workstation has
registered an impaired airflow that is usually caused by a blocked
HEPA filter.
- The HEPA filter must be replaced, irrespective of any remaining
filter life time.
- It is necessary to replace the HEPA filter immediately. Continuing
the operation is not recommended.
- Contact your Starlab service technician for further assistance.

HEPA filter critical age
(Alert 5)
- HEPA filter critical age means that the HEPA filter is close to the
end of its life time of 600 days but has not reached it yet. 10 % of
the life time remains.
- The functionality of the GuardOne® Workstation is not impaired
but it is recommended to have a spare HEPA filter ready for future
replacement.
- To order a new HEPA filter, contact your local Starlab sales repre-
sentative. Contact details may be found by pressing Starlab Service
& Order Information on the Status page.

Battery low
(Alert 6)
- „Battery Low“ means that the battery is nearing, but has not yet
reached the end of its service life.
- This does not affect the function of the GuardOne® workstation, but
exchanging the battery soon is recommended.
