4.4 Installing the Top Housing
Preconditions:
›
The back and side panels are installed at the base plate.
›
The front door is installed between the side panels.
›
The top housing is the heaviest part of the GuardOne® Workstation.
For safety reasons, have a second person available for assistance.
NOTICE!
Property damage due to placement on a hard base!
The bulb holder for the UV lamp protrudes a few centimeters
from the top housing unit. If you place the unit flat on a hard
base, the bulb holder may be pressed in and can be damaged.
- Do not store the top housing unit unpacked on a hard base.
- After unpacking the top housing unit, lift it immediately with the
help of a second person onto the preinstalled PC glass chamber.
Lifting and fixing the top housing onto the PC glass chamber
1.
CAUTION!
Crushing hazard due to heavy weight!
Due to the heavy weight of the top housing, there is a danger of
crushing your fingers.
›
Get assistance from a second person to place the top housing on
the assembled PC glass chamber.
›
Watch out for your fingers.
›
Work carefully.
2.
Take the pre-assembled top housing and lift it onto the assem-
bled PC glass chamber.
3.
Make sure that the top housing and the PC glass panels are pro-
perly aligned. If aligned correctly, the top housing rests level on
top of the aluminium profiles.
4.
Make sure that the round corners of the PC back panel are equally
aligned with the top housing.
5.
For an easy and safe access to the inside of the GuardOne® Work-
station, open the front door completely and secure it in the open
position using the recess on the roof of the top housing.
6.
Use five plastic rivets (EVA02) to fix the top housing on
the assembled PC glass chamber:
›
Insert three plastic rivets from the back.
›
Insert one plastic rivet from the left and right side each.
If necessary, you can provide additional support to the PC glass
panels with one hand from the inside.
7.
Once all screws have been inserted, lower the front door again.
