Open the flap of the top housing by reaching under the front cover
with both hands. Slide the flap upwards until it clicks into place.
9.
Use three of the plastic rivets (EVA02) to fix the front side of the top
housing to the front door. Push the rivets into the aligned holes.
The top housing is installed.
The flap of the top housing must remain open.
Connecting the magnetic safety switch
1.
Take the connecting cable adaptor at the right side of the opened flap
of the top housing between right wall and HEPA filter.
2.
Insert it from the top into the corresponding socket in the right
aluminium profile of the front door assembly.
3.
Plug the connector into the port. Make sure that the connector is
securely plugged in.
In case the magnetic safety switch has not been plugged in correctly,
UV decontamination will not work!
4.
Close the housing front door. To do so, first unlock the guiding rails by
lifting the front door on both sides slightly upwards.
The magnetic safety switch between top housing and PC glass chamber
is connected.
4.5 Installing the UV Lamp
Preconditions:

Remove the packaging of the UV lamp. On the packaging there is a
sticker with the serial number of the UV lamp. You will need this
serial number during the function test in Chapter 4.6 “Complete
Installation”.
1.
Open the front door fully, using the recess on the top housing to safely
secure it in position.
2.
Insert the new UV lamp from below into the lamp sockets. Lock the
UV lamp by rotating it by approx. 90° in anticlockwise direction.
As soon as the bulb has been locked, you will hear a clicking sound.
3.
In the 48” version you install two UV lamps side-by-side repeating the
action detailed in step 2.
4.
Close the front door carefully.
