Step 6

After closing the smoke detector front cover, open the cover on the back of the detector housing.
Use a flat screwdriver to open. The pictures below show how to open.

Step 7

After opening and removing the back cover, press the button located on top of the PCB between
the connection terminals. After pressing the button, put on the cover.
