Empty the sediment container
Solid particles collect in the sediment container due to the force of gravity.
Empty the sediment container in cycles that are appropriate for your work
method, but at least every 4 weeks.
The sediment container is only available if neither a wet suction device
nor air jet pump is installed.
Cleaning the suction system
Perform a cleaning of the suction system before removing the sediment
container.
If the simulation unit is equipped with the chemical suction hose cleaning
option, see “Vacuum system [ → 173].”
Removing and emptying the sediment container
Wear gloves, risk of contamination
1. Remove side cover A and loosen the connection for the protective
ground wire B.
2. Loosen the bayonet catch by turning the sediment container C
counterclockwise.
3. Pour out the excess water from the sediment container and dispose
of the collected solid matter along with the residue from the suction
hoses.
