Updating the Cycle Time

The updating cycle is approximately 20 ms. The updating cycle includes:

•

Reading the binary inputs of the SICAM I/O Unit 7XV5673 and creating a process image in the 
SICAM MMU

•

Updating the binary outputs of the SICAM I/O Unit 7XV5673 from the process image of the SICAM MMU

Monitoring Communication

The SICAM I/O Unit 7XV5673 monitors the communication with the SICAM MMU.

If the communication is interrupted, the corresponding 

Indication x from Remote

 becomes invalid, which is 

controlled by SICAM MMU and which is connected to the corresponding binary output of the SICAM I/O Unit 
7XV5673.
