Checking the compression device

1. Attach compression plate (1/ Fig. 1) if not already done.
2. Check that the compression plate cannot be removed without pressing the
compression plate release button (2/ Fig. 1).
3. Check the function of the knobs for manual compression/decompression
(3/ Fig. 1).
4. Place a piece of soft material on the object table, for example a rolled up towel or a
piece of foam-rubber (4/ Fig. 1).
5. Check the function of the foot switch for motorized compression/decompression
(1) and (2) in (Fig. 2).
