Ontrac Installation Manual
Options: GPS (350708)
Tower Box Enclosure Installation:
1. Drill two 3/16” holes in the aluminum cage as shown to the right to match board.
2. Install 3 lock support standoffs in the 3 holes next to the Iridium modem.
3. Place the GPS Module on the mount on the standoffs.
4. Install the 6 Position connector to J1 (located next to the push button).
5. Connect the 4 position connector to Aux J12 on the RTU board.
(located between the radio and the battery connector)
6. Insert the white wire into any black terminals available on the
digital inputs on the RTU board or to the V- on the power supply.
7. Install the red wire on the power supply terminal labeled V+.
New Base Installation:
A. Post Enclosure Base Setup
1. Using the grey wire harness and 12 VDC battery; power up the GPS Module.
2. Connect red wire to the positive terminal.
3. Connect black wire to the negative terminal.
4. Using steps 2-9 on Retro Installation to complete Base setup routine.
B. Tower Enclosure Base Setup
1. Power the GPS Module
2. Supply neutral to the white wire and 120 VAC to the pink or purple wire.
3. Connect the Battery negative to the Black wire and positive to the red wire of the GPS Module.
4. Use Step 2-9 on Retro Installation to complete Base setup routine.
Verification
1. Use internet access to verify communication and GPS position using the
field_test website and radio number. http:\\admin.ontracbyreinke.com/
2. Run the system to have some position sent to the RTU Board.
3. Compare GPS position to the systems actual position (keep in mind 0 degrees is north pivot and
linear position is measured in feet).
4. If installing on an existing unit call Reintech at 1-888-872-2360 to complete setup.
5. If you have questions or concerns contact technical support.
6. Verification is complete.
