Cell Option: Basic Control Board (350774)
350774 - (Ontrac Cell-Basic Control Board) -
This option provides four output relays for controlling
the remote Stop and Start functions.
Step 1: Call (800) 947-4868 to complete Start and Stop control setup.
1. System Stop Function will already be wired at factory.
This wiring opens the safety to stop the system; it is set to open for 8 seconds and then close. This time
is adjustable if needed. Relay 1 is used to stop the system via brown and brown/yellow wires.
2. System Start Function
a. Relay 2 is used to start the system and is designed to close for 3 seconds (this time is adjustable).
b. The incoming red wire from the span cable is used for a constant 120VAC
source and the black is used to supply power back to the panel.
Note: Relays are double poll single throw. (Normally Closed, Common, Normally Open)
c. The blue incoming wire is not used for this option and may be used at a later time.
d. Wiring will be completed based on the type of main control panel that is used on the system.
3. Wiring Guide to safely Start/Stop the system
A. Relay #1: Stop Relay
a. Complete wiring using the “BR” labeled terminals on the disconnect and in series with the
system safety circuit.
b. Touch Screen Panel with Stop Relay
i. Wire relay using NC contacts.
ii. Connect a wire to NC contact from Relay 1 to 120VAC from the transformer.
iii. Connect a wire to common contact from Relay 1 to Alarm 2 on the Touch Screen.
iv. Configure Alarm 2, On/Off, to stop the system.
B. Relay #2: Start Relay
a. Start Relay with Auto Restart Timer
i. An auto restart timer should be installed to manufacturing specifications prior to
adding the Start Function.
ii. If the system has a low pressure shutdown then an Auto Restart Timer is required.
iii. Connect start relay using NC contact and in series with Power to the auto restart
timer (if it is a Reinke, it should be a red wire going to T1 terminal on the timer).
b. Start Relay with Touch Screen Panel
i. Wire relay using NO contacts.
ii. Connect 120VAC from the transformer to the NO contact on the Start Relay.
iii. Configure alarm 1 On/Off to start system when Alarm 1 transitions from Off to On.
c. Start Relay with Advanced Panel
i. Wire relay using NO contacts across the Start Button (use the contacts furthest to the
right when facing the back of the start button).
ii. Connect NO contact of Start Relay to Red wire on the Start Button.
iii. Connect wire from common contact from Start Relay to black and blue/yellow wires
on the Start Button.

Control Panel is
